Support OpenCart and WordPress projects across implementation, catalogue work, QA, maintenance and troubleshooting.
The role
This is a broader development role for someone building depth across e-commerce and content-led websites. You will contribute to live projects, make careful front-end adjustments, support integrations and help keep platforms reliable.
What you will work on
- Support OpenCart and WordPress implementation tasks
- Make responsive front-end adjustments from approved designs
- Configure catalogue, content and reusable page components
- Assist with APIs, feeds, payments and courier integrations
- Complete browser, device, form and checkout QA
- Investigate issues and document reproducible findings
- Contribute to maintenance, updates and structured releases
What we are looking for
- Good foundations in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Some practical exposure to WordPress, OpenCart or another CMS
- Careful attention to responsive behaviour and content accuracy
- A methodical approach to testing and troubleshooting
- Willingness to learn PHP, platform conventions and integration logic
- Clear communication and reliable follow-through
Nice to have
- Portfolio or personal development projects
- Basic PHP and MySQL knowledge
- Experience with product catalogues or WooCommerce
- Familiarity with Git and browser developer tools
